I am Kevin who lives in a happy family in Kaohsiung. I have one older brother and one older sister. Both of them are crazy about my childish action from time to time including laughing with a loud and “kevinful” voice, and posing an ugly face when snapping photos.
I am in favor of traveling to many different places, which can fulfill my desire to take a large number of photos and to share it on my Instagram. What is more, interacting with different kinds of people is my favorite, which might be related to my parents, who have helped people in the hospital for a long time, so I dream to become an excellent English teacher after I graduate and let students enjoy learning English with me. Furthermore, I am in favor of watching the series, for it is not only a leisure activity for me but also a method to improve my English listening skills. I am fascinated with two series including “How to Get Away with Murder”, which is a story about a group of law students involving in a complicated murder case with their brilliant criminal defense professor, and “The Handmaid’s Tale”, which is a dystopia series aiming at showing how difficult and dangerous for the handmaids to live under a fundamentalist theocratic dictatorship. Last but not least, I love horror movies because after watching horror movies, I could always relieve my stress and feel energetic. “Annabelle”, “The Conjuring”, and “Insidious” are my favorite.
During the summer vacation, it rained extremely heavily in Kaohsiung so that I had no choice but to stay at home to stay safe. In order not to be a lazy boy watching series and movies all the time, I decided to do something different! Making videos of my life was a new thing for me because I had never learned how to film and how to edit a video. Therefore, after a short discussion with my family, we decided to make videos about cooking.
In the beginning, I was so happy that my brother and my mother were very willing about being the chefs of my channel. In addition, I learned much knowledge with some videos on YouTube teaching me how to film and edit videos. Gradually, I catch the best angle to film tasty food and have a better understanding of how to demonstrate and elaborate our videos. At last, although we only produced four cooking videos, all of our family members felt satisfied with what we had done in this special summer vacation.
Though I don’t have some professional filming strategies and expensive equipment, I feel so delighted that I successfully attained the idea I came up with and that my family members were very proud of my videos. I believe after many years, watching those videos we made on YouTube will definitely make us recall the excellent and the happiest moment we had together in the summer of 2018.
